Steffen Sennert (DE, born 1987) is a Berlin-based audio and video engineer, musician, and inventor with a diverse approach to his craft. His expertise spans a wide range of disciplines, including professional audio engineering, and electronic and software development, all centered around audio-visual experiences and performances.
A key focus of his work is the development of new, innovative electronic music instruments and controllers. Steffen Sennert strives to create unique interfaces and playgrounds for intuitive artistic expression, empowering musicians and artists to explore new dimensions of creativity, blending cutting-edge technology with an artistic sensibility. ARRIVO BERLIN Übungswerkstätten was a pilot project by S27 – Art and Education, which ran between 2015 and 2025. It was part of a city-wide network of organisations helping refugees to find their way into the job market. ARRIVO BERLIN Übungswerkstätten focused on preparing young adults for vocational training or employment through a combination of language lessons, manual and technical workshops and job application training, working closely with Berlin-based businesses.
Since 2026, the project ARRIVO BERLIN Übungswerkstätten has been replaced by the project ARRIVO BERLIN Tec & Crafts.
ARRIVO BERLIN has been funded by the Senatsverwaltung für Arbeit, Soziales, Gleichstellung, Integration, Vielfalt und Antidiskriminierung (Senate Department for Labor, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination).
