Steffen Sennert (DE, born 1987) is a Berlin-based audio and video engineer, musician, and inventor with a diverse approach to his craft. His expertise spans a wide range of disciplines, including professional audio engineering, and electronic and software development, all centered around audio-visual experiences and performances.
A key focus of his work is the development of new, innovative electronic music instruments and controllers. ARRIVO BERLIN Übungswerkstätten was a pilot project by S27 – Art and Education, which ran between 2015 and 2025. It was part of a city-wide network of organisations helping refugees to find their way into the job market. ARRIVO BERLIN Übungswerkstätten focused on preparing young adults for vocational training or employment through a combination of language lessons, manual and technical workshops and job application training, working closely with Berlin-based businesses.
Since 2026, the project ARRIVO BERLIN Übungswerkstätten has been replaced by the project ARRIVO BERLIN Tec & Crafts.
ARRIVO BERLIN has been funded by the Senatsverwaltung für Arbeit, Soziales, Gleichstellung, Integration, Vielfalt und Antidiskriminierung (Senate Department for Labor, Social Affairs, Equality, Integration, Diversity and Anti-Discrimination).
