WELTSCHULHAUS is an experimental educational initiative by S27 – Art and Education involving partner organisations worldwide and, above all, many international people - both young and old - who have arrived in Berlin in the wake of global crises. WELTSCHULHAUS addresses the shortcomings emerging from the factual exclusion of non-Western knowledge from German curricula and educational planning. Tapping into educational resources and knowledge of migrants and refugees as well as ideas from established migrant communities, the initiative explores innovative forms of learning, fosters peer-to-peer teaching and carries out an applied research about the design of learning places and the topic of future skills.

Felix Egle (DE, born 1989) is a freelance communications and social designer. He develops co-creation formats and designs, cooperating with various associations, including S27 – Art and Education, Kiosk of Solidarity and Fixpunkt gGmbH.
Fixpunkt gGmbH is an addiction support organisation in Berlin that takes an accepting approach to its work. The gGmbH (non-profit limited liability company) operates three contact points with drug consumption rooms and offers a wide range of counselling and referral services, including the Kotti-Kompass project, which provides structure for people affected by addiction, and the needle collection project ‘PEER Projekt Kreuzberg’.
